The Supreme Court ordered excavation through RADAR waves. The ASI conducted 5 months of excavation across 82 trenches, confirming the existence of a massive temple structure.

Ancient Civilisation

Evidence dating to 13th century B.C. — NBPW, terra-cotta idols, beads, and worship trenches.

Kushan Period

Human and animal images, shrine remnants, massive structure present through twenty-two layers.

Gupta Period

Terra-cotta figures and copper coins with "Shri Chandra (Gupta)" inscriptions.
